How big a cake do I need?
The size of your cake depends on the number of guests, the type of event, the style of cake you’d like, and whether there will be other desserts.
Tell me how many servings you would like, and I’ll advise you on the perfect cake size.
How far in advance should I order?
1-tier cakes: at least 3 days’ notice before your event.
2-tier cakes: at least 7 days’ notice.
Larger custom cakes or wedding cakes: at least 30 days’ notice.
Do I have to pay now?
Payments can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Banking details will be shared upon invoice.
1-tier cakes: payment is due at least 3 days before the event.
2-tier cakes: payment is due at least 7 days before the event.
Larger cakes (custom sizes and wedding cakes): a 50% refundable deposit secures your date, with the full balance due 30 days before the event.
Tasting boxes: payment must be made at least 5 days before delivery or collection.
How is the price of my cake determined?
Each cake is individually designed, and the price varies based on flavor, size, design, and delivery requirements.
Can my cake be delivered?
Yes, we deliver within Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Delivery costs are calculated based on your address.
Tasting boxes: delivery available on select dates between 10:00–12:00.
Cake orders: delivery available Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00–12:00.
Wedding cakes: delivery available any day, at any time.
Please note: any cake with more than one tier must be delivered and cannot be collected.
Can I choose more than one flavor for a multi-tiered cake?
Yes, you can choose:
Two flavors for a two-tier cake
Three flavors for a three-tier cake
Can I freeze my cake or leftovers?
Freezing your cake is not recommended, as it may affect the texture and taste.
Do you make fake or Styrofoam cakes?
Yes! Large fake cakes can be used for display and photos, while sheet cakes are kept in the kitchen and served to guests. This is recommended for events with more than 100 guests or when a seamless cake service is preferred.
Can I collect my cake?
Yes! Cake orders can be collected from Tuesday to Saturday, and tasting boxes are available for collection on select dates.
There are two pick-up slots available: 08:30–09:30 or 16:30–17:30.
Please note: wedding cakes or multi-tier cakes cannot be collected and must be delivered.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements or allergies?
Some of our flavours can be made gluten-free.
All cakes are prepared in a kitchen that handles eggs, dairy, gluten, nuts, and soy. While precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee any product to be completely allergen-free.

Do you use fondant?
No, we do not use fondant in any of our cake designs.

Can I pick up or have my cake/tasting box delivered outside the available times?
For wedding cakes, a special delivery day and time will be scheduled.
Special delivery or pick-up times for other cakes and tasting boxes may sometimes be accommodated, but this cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional cost.

How do I store my cake?
Cakes should be stored in the fridge, either covered or in the original box.
Remove your cake from the fridge about 1 hour before serving to allow it to reach room temperature and soften.
How long will my cake last?
For best freshness, serve your cake on the day of delivery or collection.
If stored correctly in the fridge, your cake can last up to 48 hours after delivery or collection.
